Rydym yn falch iawn o gyhoeddi bod cinio ysgol bellach yn rhad ac am ddim i bob disgybl yn YGG Tirdeunaw. Mae hyn yn rhan o fenter Llywodraeth Cymru i sicrhau bod pob plentyn yn cael mynediad at fwyd maethlon yn ystod y diwrnod ysgol, gan helpu i wella canolbwyntio, iechyd a lles cyffredinol.
Does dim angen i rieni neu warcheidwaid wneud cais na thalu am y cinio – mae pob plentyn yn gymwys yn awtomatig. Bydd y cinio’n cynnwys prif bryd poeth, gyda dewisiadau llysieuol ar gael, ynghyd â ffrwythau neu bwdin iach. Mae’r bwydlen yn cael ei chynllunio i fod yn gytbwys ac yn amrywiol, gan ystyried anghenion dietegol a dewisiadau personol.
Rydym yn annog pob plentyn i fanteisio ar y cynnig hwn, nid yn unig am y buddion iechyd, ond hefyd fel cyfle i gymdeithasu gyda’u cyfoedion mewn amgylchedd cefnogol. Os oes gennych unrhyw gwestiynau neu bryderon am y cinio ysgol, mae croeso i chi gysylltu â’r ysgol.
Mae cyfleusterau ar gyfer bwyta pecyn bwyd ar gael fel dewis arall. Gellir bwyta darn o ffrwyth (â’r croen wedi tynnu i ffwrdd os oes angen) amser chwarae yn y bore.
We are delighted to announce that school meals are now completely free for all pupils at YGG Tirdeunaw. This initiative is part of the Welsh Government’s commitment to ensuring every child has access to nutritious food during the school day, supporting better concentration, health, and overall wellbeing.
There is no need for parents or guardians to apply or pay – every child is automatically eligible. Meals will include a hot main course, with vegetarian options available, along with fruit or a healthy dessert. The menu is designed to be balanced and varied, taking into account dietary needs and personal preferences.
We strongly encourage all children to take advantage of this offer, not only for the health benefits but also as an opportunity to enjoy mealtimes with their peers in a supportive environment. If you have any questions or concerns about school meals, please feel free to contact the school.
Facilities for eating a packed lunch are available as an alternative. A piece of fruit (peeled if necessary) may be eaten at morning playtime.
